Unfortunately I can't show as I'm not techno enuff yet for photos, but...
Went to a local beach today for a couple of hours - 38 coins, 1 penny, 2 halfpennies, 1950 florin, 4 threepences (2 silver) 2 sixpences (both silver) 1965 shilling, plus the usual 1 and 2 and 5 cents etc, BUT!!! I picked up what I thought might be some sort of token or commemorative medal or something (didn't have my glasses with me!) Turns out they (I found 2) are 9999 1 oz Silver Fern Coins! Absolutely surprised and stoked! One is in pretty good nick, but the other is 90% tarnished.

The goodies are still out there!

Well done with the finds goldnugget :)

We now have our own Metal detecting section, which is below the GOLD section :)
Gavin will probably move this down soon, and hopefully delete this part of my post,
unless you get in before him, delete this and repost in the correct section ;)
