Thats pretty cool stuff - now imagine what a two gallon clay crock filled with treasures such as these would look like - love the lifesaving medal - its a real cracker though the family of the person who it was awarded to might love to regain it as it is named and obviously lost.

There are four listed in the white pages and I have rung all of them and none of them know of this medal.

Wow what a find. 12 silvers would make my day at the moment (bit of a silver drought out here in Rangiora) but that gold medal is something else.

Well done.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.

Interesting design for the Royal Life Saving Society - looks a like a bit promiscuous! Or is it just me with my mind in the gutter? :P

I had the same thoughts about the life saving medal. I decided that maybe they didn't have dirty minds back in the 1920s. Well done Hunter on your finds. Nice your wife came with you. She prob gets 1st dibs on the rings eh? My wife does! You really know how to work your F75. Envious!!

Hi

It's either the Sylvester method or Holger Neilson. Precursors to CPR we know today. I used to have a poster of it but bugggar knows where it is these days

Really nice finds

Nice finds Hunter. Have to agree, the badge looks, shall we say somewhat irregular at first glimpse.
Top GOLD find and good to hear that you tried to make contact with the former owners.
