Wish my house was that tidy - I live in what looks like an Bangkok Gambling, Opium den and brothel after a police raid. Before you come down this way Shane it might pay to pitch your tent in the local rubbish tip for a couple of days to acclimatise yourself! I like the treasures - cool. An interesting collection to say the least. Check out the snake in the bottle. There is also GOLD in a bottle and the water in it has turned 'blackish'. . A silver ring that seems to weigh about an ounce. An 1862 ch-ch grocer token (a couple of meters away we also found an 1855 shilling). A 9ct GOLD bracelet. And a blue crystal like stone found on a beach. It looks a bit like rich cobalt blue obsidian in a crystal form. It is the Pirateman's personal collection. He is a top trader in used goods and collectables. He has a mean as battleship collection which i believe is for sale. These have been collected or found by Crisyboy and myself. There are more to show but it will take a week to round all the pics up. These first three are in working order but i wouldnt push them. The brown handled one was made in Italy. \ This one is an Italian job. Once you pick it up you cant keep your hands off it.. Throw some GOLD in the mix. Found near Paihia beach. More treasured pics. Pre-war German coin showing swatstika. Old style purse holding silver coin finds. Some GOLD and non-GOLD items. Trade token. Iredale and Co. Sydney 1854 WW1 military snake belt buckle and a St Christopher and Mary cross. 6 rings in one trip. One a triple GOLD ring. One of my favorite pics. Beach rocks. Due out Jan 2013 32 rings found to date. Only one of them was GOLD. Pilot Bay papamoa A couple of park finds Space junk. Top finds The mighty Ace . Nothin like a good post to rehash a thread. This time with a nice garage sale score. Got the visit from Pirateman today and he had a GOLD gleam in his eye. He had been pickin and scored this old time badge/medal combo. The pics clearly show the find with a Silver Shilling with GOLD plating, a Gold Half Sovereign and a Silver Florin.
