Late on Saturday afternoon Max and I went to Takapuna beach for a low tide hunt.
We were there about 3 hours and well into the darkness. Although I only found a measly 2 coins
Max did a little better with several dollars and a cool ring.

This was the first time I had seen Max with his new Excal and all the gear for water hunting
and so here are a couple of pics of the outing to share with you lot.

HH
Chris.

Thanks Chris for the Photos :-)
Yap- that is me.
In regards Socks and sandals- there are 2 reasons:

Sandals for protecting feet from cuts (even the sand scoop itself)
And socks makes it a bit warmer and protect feet from blisters..

I looked at the option of swimming shoes- but cheap ones are crap..
