Little Haglet park hunt 05/05/2012 finds

I have been thinking about the effect of EFTPOS on future detecting . With less people carrying cash the re-seeding rate of coins must be reducing quite steadily and silver stopped going in to the ground years ago so what will detecting be like in say 5 years?

Had my first silverless day this year today, not even a humble threepence despite finding heaps of old pennies. Am heading out tomorrow and tempted to catch up with you boys on Hagley. The weather looks to be good. Might see you there.
