hi Diggerjoe @ Element111 if you are buying a minelab detector it may be wise to contact minelab in aussie so you can verify the id numbers on the control box also check with them where it was sold There has been a lot of fake chinese ones here and people havebeen caught out Minelab have just recently up graded seruity numbers even coiltek coils have been coplied You can go on line www.minelab .com to check out the item If you are looking to buy allways asked the seller where it was bought from and if they have the receite and warranty Also check with Coiltek they have upgraded there numbers too If you have trouble with your machine you may not be able to get it fixed in NZ If bought in england america you may have send it to them at big cost to you They had a picture of Coiltek coils in the gold gem @treasure mag and it was so hard to pick the good one from the bad one the stickers was the only thing that gave it away and also the lead that came out of the coil Coiltex ones are shiney black the chineses ones was adull colour You can check Coiltex numbers with them to But as they say buyer beware/////
