I will get my Dads out as soon as I can find the tin they are in.
I think it gives the kids something real for Anzac day.

Meanwhile I imagine many families in NZ would have a set the same as these.

Enjoy the day.

Good one Metal Kiwi - that great - my kids can wear a selection to Anzac day as well - WWI and WWII - Personally I think that the guys who went overseas should be remembered and especially those who are still there as they never made it home to reach old age.

Love your gold scales - I havent got a set cased like them - they are obviously far scarcer than the usual wood boxed ones which I have had many sets go through my hands...love them. If you need to restring at any time use ancient green fly fishing line as it is nearly identical. Carry a piece of original with you and compare it to the line on old fly reels until you get a near match.

As for your web site thing - if you can set up web sites its a great shame you aint down here as I would have offered you a deal in exchange for setting up a major site for me - ie Goldmiing rights (no detectors though) on my place in exchange for setting up and maintaining a web site.
