I'll be there for hours..got my cap light arrive today so that'll be on as the beacon hoho! Short notice but I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya's
There's another to find and I'm gunna find it!

Man not a great result from tonight. Got a $1.40. Cant call it a writeoff as I did get a 1920 Britsh penny and 1964 NZ penny. As long as I find an old coin Im happy!
Took a quick pic..lets see if I can post it for practise..

I think if you reduce the size of the pic to 500 width before posting, it will show up on the page instead of having to be downloaded.

Or Gavin could change the max width of photos to 600 - that would be good. :)

Guts man! Well I guess your bad luck gave me supper good luck in the park!

From around 10cm down in the one hole I pulld out 13 silver brittish coins. Was my best coin spill to date!

Who knowes, it may be your turn next time!

Here is a pic of the 13 silvers from the one hole!

Was a fantastic dig! The florin on the left is a gothic style with the date code of mdccclxxi meaning it is1872 and the oldest coin in the spill.

The newest one dates to 1918 so all and all a nice early silver lot!

Will be back out tonight haha

Wow. Pure metal detecting porn. That loss would have really hurt some poor soul back in the day. Superb find, thanks for the pics.

That looks like 12 shillings and ninepence - a few weeks wages at the time I would think.
Great find.
