Great stuff Matt - always wanted to have a look at Ireland!

I noted that his underground vein assayed very highly while the open cast mine assayed quite low and one does wonder just how narrow the actual profit/loss margins are so that deposits once considered totally worthless and now financially viable and indeed highly profitable.

Very interesting clip-thank you.Someone was trying (unsucessfully) to sell a small piece of Irish gold on e-bay recently.

If you scroll to the bottom of the attached page there is some history (religious and geological) about the area it was found in.
