A great find - indeed a find almost beyond compare - if I found that I would be a happy chappie - It appears to be 'Fine' condition so worth more than just the silver value - In my 1997 catalogue it was worth £15 (pound) and in VF or Very Fine condition £30 - that equates to about $45 and $75 and both silver and coin values have gone up a fair bit since then.

I love it.

It looked great at the park, but now it is cleaned up, it is gorgeous - I am rather jealous!

Fantastic turnout today though - did anyone work out the numbers? We must have had 10 people there at least

Lovely meeting you all - I expect to see most of you round milling about looking for silvers (and gold)

Thanks Digjust1more. I saw the pic of your gold sovereign. Awesome! Went out today with Hunter, found a couple of coins and a neat lead figurine which looks like an Indian.

Hi Treasures that is a awesome find! I hope I can get something like that (or anything decent!) from Hagley.
You n Hunter got a coupla great finds lately!

Did anyone else find anything interesting on Sat? Sounds like a dozen or so managed to make it throughout the day?

I might get myself an LED cap or something for the after work hunts seeing as it seems all my daylight hours are spent a work. No grass in sight here either dammmit!
There's another to find and I'm gunna find it!
