saw this too. i remember someone posted something about this a few months ago.

apart from all the speculation you'd have to think the guy has had an accident of some sort. i wonder if anyone tried searching underwater. i hear they have been looking down old shafts. i would prefer tto think the guy would be sort of familiar with the area if he had a claim there. if he was working below water level a boulder could easily have trapped the guy. goes to show though you need to tell people where you are headed and when you are due back.
