Absolutely outstanding and thanks for posting.

If it wasn't for the weather and the sandflies, we'd all be down there joining you.

Great to see your efforts are well rewarded.

sorry, but we've hurt the source badly, pulled out between 3-4 oz now, and it's getting harder to find. the large 1 in pic is 8.7g, later got a 9.2g, 6g month ago 5.18g.
Using Minelab 4500

I wonder if a Goldbug would bring out a bit more - reason I say this is that my son with his Goldbug has been going over country which he had thought he had more or less cleaned out with my Minelab and we have been amazed at the small stuff he is getting.

We now use the Goldbug in association with the Minelab as both have their applications.

nice work. here seems to be a few finds out there on ground the old miners missed.

i have been out hunting with someone who has both a gold bug 2 and a mine lab 4500 (i only have a gold bug 2). there is definitely grounds for using both over an area i think. each machine has its strong points. some hot rocks especially make the gold bug go mental, where the 4500 handles it with ease. on the other hand a strong point of the gb2 is its easier to haul around as its a smaller lighter package.
