Yeah Steve had a decent day, I had my usual crap day, slowly cornering the worlds market of 1 cent pieces. Also found a solitary silver, George V 3 pence, plus a leather strapped watch which looked for all the world to be gold but on close inspection at home was found to be plated.
Half our problem was knowing where to search, this being our first time at Hagley. Initially we started on the South Park but couldnt move for cricket players after a couple of hours, then went to the north (Park Terrace) which was much better but presented a challenge with the toughest matted grass I've encountered. got a couple of early Edward V11 coppers here but little else.

And.....why am I still stuck on '0 posts' having now posted four times? Am I really that boring?

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.
