Sorry about the short notice, but if any of you want to a Hagley Park detect tonight, I'm planning to be there from hopefully 5pm onwards. Park in the Oxford Terrace Bortanical Gardens car park and I should be somewhere within sight of the golf club clubrooms.

Be there or be square!

Hi Andy
It was a sweet swing this evening, some good finds I found ($8.10 in top coin, 1934 Fiji silver shilling and a silver Fob and a 1834 shilling) my wife found a bullet casing and a whole heap of trash.
Attached is the the two large crowns these were found a few days ago and the other old shilling 1817 that I found in Hagley Park

Hi there hunter and welcome onboard. Wow, you found an 1817 silver shilling. I have not heard of any silver coin find earlier than 1834. Well done.
Cool knuckleduster there Treasures.

Gee it seems to be that Hagley park is still the place to be for the old silver.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. It is exceedingly bad manners to be invited on a hunt and pull out an 1817 shilling when the organiser only gets a 1935 shilling and 1933 sixpence!

Let's not have that happen again. Hmmmm?

Very Nice coins. If you don't mind me asking, how deep were the crowns?
Keep them coming.
Cheers
