With winter not far away i'm looking at all the places i thought i'd get into over summer. same old story. time has flown by and i haven't gotten to half the places i thought i would have.

thus i'm thinking of a trip into skippers creek area. some good gold came out of there. well, a huge amount actually. but the miners didn't have detectors. so i'm thinking are there any of you here that might want to get together for a day or 2 up the skipper creek area. there some really interesting stuff up there such as the first power generation and street lights in new zealand. a lot of old mines too. and bullendale town. won't be long till it gets too cold to do much so now's the time to get into it.

i'm thinking the weekend of 31st march so if anyone keen post so here or pm me. i have a 4wd if you need transport in.
