Hey that is some goot loot! That watch looks like a real gold watch. Like the services pin too, I have never seen one of those.

Let us all know the results of the verdict on the badge - it is a common type alongside its second cousin which is same shape and basic design with GRI but crown slightly different and the words 'FOR LOYAL SERVICE' and also solid.
They also had a number on the back, in the case of the one here 758. Mine also has a makers mark H & K W

Just heard back from army museum and below is there reply, mine is got the horizontal pin
"This badge is also known as the Services Rendered or Discharge badge. It
was issued to service personnel who had been honourably discharged due
to wounds, sickness or disability between 1916 and 1920. There are two
designs of the badge that are distinguishable by the I in the Royal
Cypher (the first design the loop of the I is wider to the left and
smaller in the tail of the loop) or more commonly the pin on the reverse
(Type 1 = Horizontal pin, Type 2 = Vertical). The badges were made by J
R Gaunt & Son Ltd of London and Birmingham, and they were unfortunately
numbered consecutively by Gaunts as they were made - This means that the
number on the back doesn't relate to the service number of the
individual awarded. Currently the only way to search for the identity of
the owner is to go to the National Archives London and manually search
through the records (Ancestry.com.au has a searchable list of the
British badges - they are still working on adding the New Zealand badges
to this list - but hopefully it will be soon).
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance."
