That's true it all adds up - I wonder what the going rate for foil is ? I guess even the right bottle cap to the right person will make their day..then we have the recycling of the broken bottles with the bottle caps...
To me it's not treasure but I do at least feel good thinking that I have potentially stopped some little tot getting sliced up, I bet the beach hunters here must have found some nasty stuff.

ya lot of wood on beach with nails in them and broken bottles under the sand that you cant see.....but the thing i found that worried me a bit and it was in a park was a complete knife but it wasnt buried..my son and i were metal detecting and i found it just stuffed into the ground up to the handle...any kid could of come along and picked it up..
needless to say i turned it into the police as there had been 2 stabings at this park within a month of each other..
