Just managed to resize this pic so I could put it in my album. This was our best day detecting so far, a month ago, over 200 coins and trinkets for the day.

That is a different type of find. Do you think it has any age to it?

Someone was asking us to put on a running total but this has been difficult lately as I have been working away from Dunedin and detecting here, and my son has been detecting there, but we had a count up of our silver the other day and it is 110 coins and 12 silver pieces of jewelery. Our spendable's goes into my sons daughters account and with whats in there and ready to be put in, its $187.70. Predecimal coins are to many to count but over 450 and decimal is around 200. No gold yet but next dig we hope lol. Watches 4, trinkets, 70 or 80, junk many, and good times, lots.

Finally we have gold. Son found two nice brochs, both gold, and came out of the ground looking just as they are in the photos. I have been busy up here as well and went for a detect today with a mate and we found 7 silvers between us, me 5 and him 2, plus alot of really nice old pennys. Some photos attached.
