Woah, I didn't realise you guys reset those counts every year.

As a gold detector, I was thinking of listing:

Holes Dug: 0
Super Deep Holes (50cm+): 0
Gold Recovered: 0g
Treasure/coins: 0
Other artifacts: 0

What do you think?

Yeah, why not. It adds an extra dimension to the hunt plus it helps to keep you motivated towards a specific target....eg, 600 coins for the year.
I'm doing it again for the third year. 2014 was easily my best year and it's good to be able to look back and see why it was so good.

Also good to take a screen shot of the previous years totals, can easily forget I imagine.
I'm starting this year off with a hunt tonight, looking forward to it.
Welcome to come snowdrop but will be quite a late start

Cool token mate. That is one of the harder ones to find.
Really love the wee Bonzo dog pin. He was a popular character back in the 1930s. An Aunt of mine had a Bonzo Toby jug that I loved to play with when I visited her as a small kid. She left it to me when she passed. It's such a cool thing.
Is the 1875 penny a Heaton mint penny...a small "H" below the date? If so, it's worth quite a bit more than a standard 1875 penny.

Must Point out that the last 2 pics are what the token should look when not been in the ground for 100 odd years

Yeah, I noticed. But it seems like a little bit of soaking will clean it up, and green petina looks awesome on copper. Well done, it's always nice to find a different peice of New Zealand history, though I did just see it is Asutralian. Still, I bet you don't find those everyday.

These things could have really interesting history, they were taken by travellers or importers, smugglers or bandits. New Zealand history is so complicated! :)
