possible gold deposits on the south island of New Zealand found on Google earth.

45'36'40,26'South 166'50'42,56'East-This gold deposit is on a small cliff face not too high. There is a good chance there are gold deposits at the base of the cliff. These gold deposits are easy to get.Save climbing the cliff.

44'21'18,43'South 168'43'56,02'East This is the gold deposit at the base of the cliff i believe is a gold deposit.Again easy to get to.

Remember both these gold deposits are in National parks in the south Island of New zealand,Check out the locations on Google earth for yourself before they change the photos. You can also find the best passage into these areas using Google earth and maps of the area.

If you find any gold.Send me some as a finder's fee.I hope there is plenty of gold there.

Travling to gold deposits can cost alot of time, money and hardwork. You have to spend money to make money. Most of the gold deposits i discover on Google earth are in very remote and hard to get to locations.Usually in places nobody has even been before.

Many are in places where gold mining and prospecting is not allowed. But that does not stop everyone from checking these amazing locations out.

If you are the lucky one to own or get the use of a helecopter. This would be a quicker and easyer way of checking out these remote locations.Unfortunatly not everyone has a helecopter or can afford the rental of a helecopter.

I know 80% of the images i find on Google earth are not what they seem.Could be just coloured stone or another type of mineral. Its the other 20% i am intreasted in and gee they are nearly always is very hard to get places, sometimes impossible places.

I guess most prospecters like checking out rivers and the use of metal detectors.Thats fine. You can find some gold that way.Hopefully i will travel to one of these places in Tasmania once i get my act togeather with equipment.

Happy gold hunting.

You better work it out fast Scorpio, there gonna be a golddigger at work shortly, but b4 I get there, I might just stop off on the way at the Arrow River, so you got perhaps 10 years or so b4 I get to those coords.

Sorry but I'm not a believer. Satellite imagery is usually taken vertically. Being able to see what is in a cliff would be pretty hard.

Ok Wayne, I did like Kiwisouth did and checked out the Google Earth, different time lines as well and I gotta say "not all that glitters is gold" my friend. Just because a band of rock is yellow doesn't mean its gold and if the 6m x 4m rock at your second GPS location is a nugget then all the best to the finder.
I have to say you have found a mildly amusing way to whittle away the daylight and I did have fun trying to narrow down the locations but I think the real pleasure for me in gold hunting still lies in the cool running waters of rivers and not the radiating glare of a computer screen.

Google is handy for somethings, like finding tracks to hunting areas etc but actually finding gold deposits? Might be handy to track upstream to look for where the gold might originate from...?
