Frig wish I lived down that way, instead of the land of forests, oops rain forests, gota keep the greenies happy.

Cheers Trev aka " The Hatter" perhaps I was " The Mad Hatter Last Night" lol

Hey all,
It's been a long time since I posted on here but thought I'd let everyone know that the old NZGS bulletins are the most awesome resources for every kind of mineral you can think of, pretty much if it exists in NZ then its documented. The problem is that they are old... like first half of the 20th century, and thus can be hard to find. Some of them are online (Buller-Mokihinui subdivision is one off the top of my head) but the rest you'll only find in a library. The EPS library at the University of Canterbury has a near complete collection and is open to the public, you just won't be able to check them out.
There a great place to start, then look for more recent info when you have an area you've decided on.
Happy Hunting =)
