I just don't do country, opera or light classical. Blues is me, and most other types I will enjoy to some extent, but definitely not country. NUGGY

NUGGY PB will no doubt have headphones on and listening to the sweet sound of buried treasures so he should be safe! They say that the further south you go the friendlier the people get, it also seems the country music gets louder too. I never thought I'd be living down here and at the end of the day as long as your with family the rest doesn't really matter. Besides that lots of small satellite towns to hunt!

Gore - already the Nashville of NZ, is being reinforced by the steady influx of country music people. These maintain contact with, and get support from the the world headquarters. Cells of agent are infiltrating worldwide and spreading the propaganda. The plan for world domination is is now exposed. A grand scheme to have every radio station blaring out stand by your man, and the d-i-v-o-r-c-e song - is well advanced. Subtly though, the influence of better music - as in "The Floyd" is undermining the plan. Support this poor man, by requesting every Pink Floyd song you can think of, to be played on every radio station in the land. Hey enjoy life down there PB, keep the headphones on whenever possible, every time I hear The Wall, I will think of you suffering through the Dolly Parton cd's ARGHHHHHHH All the best mate - NUGGY

Of course it could be Chris doing the infiltrating to drive up the Fisher sales hmmmm. Ok one last poke at Gore (in fun of course). The reason you need to be friendly in or around Gore is because at some stage in a supermarket carpark someone is going to try their key in your car door - common mistake as everyone has a Torana. It will be good and at least we are keeping PB in the South Island.

I am not a country music fan, although I don’t mind old cowboy songs. So I am not sure what I was expecting, but it was really horrible. Picture this: A string of young girls screeching high pitched wailing ballads one after another. Really rather painful, and by the end of it I would have been quite happy to have heard something resembling country music, but all I got was ear piercing tales of woe.
